Group therapy’s effectiveness lies in its ability to help you find connections with other people and their experiences. These therapist-guided sessions will help you learn more about yourself and how to improve the way you feel while feeling support from others who understand your experience.

If you’re looking for a more community-oriented therapy experience, you may be a good fit for group services.

    Virtual Eating Disorder Support Group

    Wednesdays 5:30pm-7pm

    Rate: $50 per group

The aim of this group is to offer a safe place to connect with like-minded individuals who are courageously working hard to put their eating disorder in the past. Examples of topics covered in group include:

    • challenging irrational ED thoughts
    • coping skills to manage ED urges
    • body image
    • Health At Every Size (HAES)
    • intuitive eating
    • navigating diet culture
    • boundaries
    • reaching out for help
    • social skills
    • self-compassion
    • motivation
    • celebrating recovery victories
    • underlying issues
    • meal support (1x per month)

All participants must actively be involved in individual therapy. This is a semi-open group so new members can join as spots open (max capacity is 8). Weekly attendance is expected to maintain a strong sense of group cohesion. We also ask for a minimum commitment of 6-weeks for new members.

If you are interested in joining, please contact Willow Therapy & Wellness and ask about scheduling a free consultation for group.
